Site protection

The non-spraying areas around the construction site should be protected, covered with protective cloth, and the buried parts reserved for the working face should be enveloped to avoid the soaring of spraying construction materials and affecting other working procedures.

Spray primer

The application of polyurea in concrete must use special sealing primer, which has two main functions: sealing the air and water in the capillary holes on the surface of concrete substrates, avoiding bubbling and pinholes after spraying polyurea coatings; and sealing primer can play the role of adhesives to improve the performance of polyurea coatings and coagulation. Adhesion of soil base material to improve protection effect. The viscosity of the sealing primer is generally low to ensure its permeability. The primer is usually epoxy paint with 100% solid content. In the dry concrete surface, the amount of primer coating is 8-10 m2/Kg, mechanical spraying and manual painting can be used, spraying should be uniform, no leakage point. Primer spraying should be 6-8 hours apart before drying before polyurea spraying.

Before construction, the slag and debris on the substrates should be cleaned up, and the spraying construction should be completed in different regions. During construction, the next one should cover 50% of the first one, commonly known as "pressure gun", and the spraying direction of the next one and the upper one should be vertical in order to ensure the uniformity of the coating.
