Polyurea Spray Technology Is A New Process With Special Process Requirements

It is an indisputable fact that the main cause of quality accidents in polyurea spraying projects is that the proportion of problems with some domestically produced raw materials is high. The main problems of some domestic materials are unstable quality, low film forming strength, poor appearance, poor adaptability to the construction environment (such as low temperature, relatively humid), easy bubble generation, and high irritating smell when spraying.

Although polyurea spray technology is a relatively special new process, it still needs to be based on reliable coating technology. Some engineering accidents are entirely due to the lack of basic painting techniques. For example, one of the polyurea projects that we were commissioned to completely redo, originally required to spray 1.5mm, but after peeling, it was found that the thickness was below 0.5mm, the thickness was as high as 4mm or more, and even the underlying layer of the coating was sticky and brittle. A variety of materials are stacked and adhered, the total thickness is up to 6mm, the thickness difference is up to 10 times, and the low quality of construction technology is obvious.

However, polyurea spray has its own special technical requirements, such as the influence of temperature on material balance, special requirements of base state, raw material quality identification, accurate control of some process parameters, etc., only traditional coating technology is far from enough. This is an important reason why some professional waterproofing units can't do the polyurea project.
