The polyurea is formed by spraying a raw material such as a semi-prepolymer, a terminal amino polyether, an amine chain extender, and the like. It is hydrophobic and strong, and it is not sensitive to the humidity of the environment. It can even be sprayed on water (or ice) to form a film. It can be applied normally under extreme environmental conditions. The basic characteristics are anti-corrosion, waterproof, wear-resistant and so on.
The emergence of polyurea has broken the traditional concept of anti-corrosion and protection, setting a higher standard for the material protection industry. The polyurea coating is flexible, rigid and rich in color. It is dense, continuous and seamless. It completely insulates the infiltration of moisture and oxygen in the air, and has good anti-corrosion and protection properties.
It has many functions such as wear resistance, water resistance, impact resistance, fatigue resistance, aging resistance, high temperature resistance and nuclear radiation resistance, so it has a wide application field.
The distribution of polyurea applications is: concrete protection accounts for 60%, truck wear lining accounts for 15%, steel structure anti-corrosion accounts for 10%, roof waterproofing accounts for 10%, and others account for 5%.
As a protective technology, polyurea technology is mainly used in four fields of waterproofing, anti-corrosion, anti-wear and surface decoration. For example, the application of polyurea in pipeline anti-corrosion city, pipeline anti-corrosion is also an area where polyurea technology enters earlier and has a large engineering application.
