Helmet Polyurea

"Polyurea" is an elastomer substance produced by the reaction of isocyanate components with amino compounds. Generally, they can be divided into pure polyurea and semi-polyurea. The most basic properties of polyurea are anticorrosive, waterproof and wear-resistant.

Polyurea is widely used. Its application fields are: concrete protection accounts for 60%, truck wear-resisting lining accounts for 15%, steel structure anti-corrosion accounts for 10%, roof waterproof accounts for 10%, other accounts for 5%.

Polyurea technology, as a protective technology, is mainly used in four fields: waterproofing, anticorrosion, erosion prevention and surface decoration. For example, the application of polyurea in pipeline anticorrosion is the earliest and the largest field of engineering application of polyurea technology. Other applications include anticorrosion of steel structures (especially steel piles for docks), and elastic anti-collision materials (buoys, bollards).
